As violence against civilians escalates in Balochistan, human rights organizations have exposed the extrajudicial killing of two civilians and the enforced disappearance of six others allegedly by Pakistani forces. The Baloch Yakjehti Committee disclosed that the body of 19-year-old farmer Shabeer Ahmed, missing for over a month, was found with bullet wounds in the Washuk district. He was forcibly disappeared on April 27, with his family receiving no information during his absence.
In another incident, 26-year-old police constable Shah Hussain was extrajudicially killed by a Pakistan-backed death squad in the Panjgur district. Shah, who was forcibly disappeared on October 29, 2025, and released on November 3 of the same year after a month of “illegal detention and torture,” was a victim of this violence. The Baloch Voice for Justice highlighted the enforced disappearances of six civilians by Pakistani forces, emphasizing the suffering inflicted on families searching for their missing loved ones.
The Baloch Women Forum strongly denounced the Pakistani military operation in the Kech district, where security forces allegedly committed acts of violence against civilians. Reports indicate that homes were set on fire, and residents, including women and children, faced abuse and intimidation. The forum condemned these actions as severe violations of human rights, emphasizing the need for accountability and respect for human rights standards in Balochistan.
