The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has released the results of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2026, ending the wait for engineering aspirants nationwide. Shubham Kumar from IIT Delhi emerged as the top scorer, securing 330 out of 360 marks in the Common Rank List (CRL). Over 56,000 students passed the exam out of nearly 1.8 lakh candidates who appeared.
IIT Roorkee has not only published individual scorecards but also the CRL and category-wise merit lists, showcasing candidates’ performances across different categories. Shubham Kumar claimed the top spot in the national rankings, with Kabir Chhillar and Jatain Chahar from IIT Delhi following closely, reflecting a strong performance from the region.
Candidates can check their results on the official JEE Advanced portal by logging in with their registration or roll number, date of birth, and registered mobile number. The exam, which saw 1,87,389 registrations and 1,79,694 appearances, had 56,880 qualifiers, including 10,107 female students. The exam comprised two sessions on the same day, with Paper 1 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and Paper 2 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at centers nationwide.
