Ace music director Ilaiyaraaja will compose the music for director D D Balachandran’s upcoming film ‘Lenin Pandiyan’, which marks the acting debut of Sivaji Ganesan’s grandson, Dhaarshan. Dhaarshan is set to portray a police officer in the movie, alongside actor and music director Ganga Amaran, who is also Ilaiyaraaja’s younger brother.
Actress Roja will make a comeback to the silver screen in this film after a long hiatus. The movie, produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, has completed shooting and is preparing for its release. The collaboration between veteran producer T G Thyagarajan and music maestro Ilaiyaraaja after 32 years has generated significant buzz among fans and cinephiles.
‘Lenin Pandiyan’ is expected to be a compelling narrative shedding light on village life and social realities. The film reunites the successful duo of Thyagarajan and Ilaiyaraaja, known for delivering numerous Tamil cinema classics in the past.
