India faced a 1-4 shootout defeat against hosts England after a 2-2 draw in the London leg of their FIH Pro League European tour. Dilpreet Singh scored twice for India, while David Goodfield and Nicholas Bandurak found the net for England. The match saw a balanced first half with both teams scoring and creating opportunities.

In the second quarter, India missed a chance to extend their lead when Amandeep Lakra’s penalty corner was saved by Sorsby. England equalized in the 29th minute through Goodfield. The third quarter remained goalless despite chances for both teams from penalty corners and field goals.

In the fourth quarter, Bandurak’s late goal for England was quickly answered by Dilpreet Singh, pushing the game into a shootout. England secured the win in the shootout with a 4-1 score, claiming the bonus point.
