India Shines in Indian Open Squash Championships Quarterfinals

India demonstrated strong performances in the men’s and women’s quarterfinals of the Indian Open squash championships. In the men’s category, Abhay Singh and Veer Chotrani secured semifinal berths with impressive wins. Singh will face Malaysia’s Ameeshenraj Chandaran, while Chotrani is set to compete against Sanjay Jeeva in the semifinals.

Jeeva secured his spot in the semifinals by defeating Egypt’s Ibrahim El Kabbani 3-0. Chandaran advanced after winning against Duncan Lee. Singh displayed excellent form in his victory over Yassin Shohdy, securing a place in the semifinals.

Chotrani defeated Mohamed Sharaf 3-0, with Sharaf putting up a tough fight in the first two games. However, Chotrani maintained his dominance to secure a semifinal spot. In the women’s category, Anahat Singh and Tanvi Khanna secured semifinal berths, while Joshna Chinappa faced a defeat against Egypt’s Nadien El Hammamy.
