India’s Deputy Chief of Mission to the United States, Namgya C. Khampa, highlighted the deepening relationship between India and the US, emphasizing it as a crucial strategic partnership of the 21st century. Speaking at an event in Capitol Hill, Khampa mentioned that the strength of the ties between New Delhi and Washington is based on shared interests, economic engagement, and cooperation in technology, defense, and regional security.
Khampa described the India-US partnership as significant, acknowledging that while both countries may not always align completely on every issue, the strategic foundation of the relationship has grown stronger over time. She noted ongoing negotiations between India and the US aimed at expanding trade, enhancing technology cooperation, and strengthening security coordination in the Indo-Pacific region.
