As India prepares to kick off their ICC Women’s T20 World Cup campaign, they have garnered support from various cricketing figures. Former India captain and current head of the BCCI Centre of Excellence, VVS Laxman, has shared words of encouragement before the tournament opener against Pakistan. India, coming off their historic ODI World Cup victory, are now eyeing their first T20 World Cup title.

Laxman, in his message, urged the team to embrace the moment and play with confidence as they gear up for the tournament. He expressed his best wishes for the Indian Women’s Cricket Team, encouraging them to play with courage, belief, and freedom, with the entire nation rallying behind them. The former batter emphasized the importance of enjoying the experience and acknowledged the support from fans back home.

India all-rounder Sneh Rana, a member of the ODI World Cup-winning squad, also extended her good wishes to the team. Reflecting on their past success, Rana expressed confidence in the team’s ability to make history once more. She urged the team to bring home another World Cup, aiming to give the country more reasons to celebrate and be proud of their achievements.

Rana’s message underscores the strong belief within the team. With the momentum from their previous World Cup victory, India’s players are determined to continue their success on the global stage. Led by Harmanpreet Kaur, the team is focused on their goal as they embark on their journey towards Women’s T20 World Cup glory.
