The Indian Army has rescued 355 individuals in Gujarat and Dadra and Nagar Haveli as part of flood relief efforts. These operations, initiated on July 23 by the Southern Command, aim to assist those affected by heavy rainfall and flooding. Collaborating with various agencies like the NDRF, SDRF, and local authorities, the Army has deployed multiple relief and rescue teams across the impacted regions.

In Navsari, Valsad-Vapi, Ahmedabad, and Silvassa, Army columns are actively engaged in evacuation, medical aid, and supply distribution. Teams are working tirelessly to reach flooded and remote areas, ensuring the safe evacuation of stranded residents and providing essential services. The Golden Katar Division in Ahmedabad reported successful rescue operations in Rajoda village, evacuating 82 civilians from challenging conditions.

Continuous efforts are underway to evacuate all remaining individuals in need of assistance. The Army emphasizes close coordination with civil authorities, NDRF, SDRF, and police to ensure efficient rescue and relief operations in flood-affected districts.
