Indian golfers Karandeep Kochhar and Kartik Singh are performing well at the Indian Golf Premier League’s (IGPL) Bharath Classic. Kochhar shot a one-over 73 in the second round, moving to five-under for the tournament and sharing fifth place. Kartik Singh also sits in fifth place after scoring a second-round 69 following an opening 70.
The tournament leaders are Thailand’s Settee Prakongvech and Runchanapong Youprayong at nine-under par. Prakongvech shot a seven-under 65, while Youprayong followed his first-round 65 with a 70. Austria’s Niklas Regner and Thailand’s Ekpharit Wu are tied for third at six under.
Kochhar started strong but faced challenges towards the end of his round. Despite some missed putts, he remains positive about his performance. Other Indian players like Jai Bahl, Yashas Chandra, Gaganjeet Bhullar, and others are also competing in the tournament.
Morocco’s Ayoub Lguirati emerged as the leading home player after a solid performance. The Bharath Classic is part of the Asian Tour’s events in Morocco.
