Indian men’s hockey team defender and dragflicker Jugraj Singh reached a significant milestone of 100 international caps during India’s FIH Pro League match against Germany in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Hailing from Amritsar, Punjab, Jugraj made his senior international debut in 2022 and quickly became a key player in the Indian backline due to his exceptional dragflicks and defensive skills.
Jugraj, aged 29, has played a pivotal role in several historic victories for India, including winning the gold medal at the Asia Cup 2025 in Rajgir, Bihar. His achievements also include gold medals at the 2023 and 2024 Asian Champions Trophy and a silver medal at the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games. Expressing his joy at reaching this milestone, Jugraj expressed gratitude to his family, coaches, teammates, and Hockey India for their unwavering support and belief in his abilities.
