Minister of State for Defence, Sanjay Seth, flagged in the Indian Naval Sailing Vessel (INSV) Kaundinya in Mumbai Harbour after its successful maiden overseas voyage to Oman. INSV Kaundinya, a traditionally constructed ship using ancient Indian techniques, sailed from Porbandar to Muscat, retracing historical maritime routes. The vessel’s arrival in Oman received a warm welcome, strengthening India-Oman ties and promoting cultural diplomacy through maritime heritage.
