Indian Pickleball Association Announces Squad for US Open 2026

The Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) revealed the squad set to participate in the US Open 2026 in Naples, Florida from April 9 to 18. The lineup comprises a blend of National Champions and emerging talents who have excelled in domestic competitions. Notable players in the squad include Mihika Yadav, Arjun Singh, Purvansh Patel, Aditya Singh, Naga Moksha, Jeet Sood, Yuvraj Singh, Panth Thakkar, Atharva Sheth, and Suryaveer Singh Bhullar, with Dhiren Patel serving as both coach and competitor in various categories.

“This group of players showcases the growth of Pickleball in India and reflects the IPA’s dedication to fostering structures that enable Indian athletes to compete globally,” stated Suryaveer Singh Bhullar, President of the IPA. The team’s participation, alongside Coach Dhiren Patel, is seen as a valuable experience as they gear up for upcoming international events in Singapore and Vietnam later this year. The IPA wishes the squad success at the US Open 2026.

Representing one’s country on an international platform is a significant honor, expressed Mihika Yadav, emphasizing the gratitude towards the IPA for enabling this opportunity. The players are eager to exhibit their skills at the US Open and are prepared to make an impact on the global stage. Dhiren Patel, a player and coach, acknowledged the IPA for facilitating participation for both juniors and seniors at the US Open, emphasizing the association’s commitment to empowering Indian pickleball athletes.

In a notable development, the Indian Pickleball Association collaborated with the US Open, securing direct entry for Indian players into the championship. This partnership underscores the IPA’s continuous efforts to provide Indian talent with seamless access to international exposure and the chance to compete at the sport’s highest level. Following the US Open, the IPA looks ahead to supporting teams at the Epic Amateur World Championship in Singapore and the Pickleball World Cup in Vietnam later this year.
