Indian Sports Community Mourns the Loss of Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar in Plane Crash

The Indian sports community expressed sorrow over the tragic passing of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, who lost his life in a plane crash near Baramati. Ajit Pawar was en route from Mumbai to Baramati for a public event when the fatal incident occurred shortly after takeoff, claiming his life and five others.

Renowned figures like India Olympic Association chief PT Usha and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar joined in mourning the loss of Ajit Pawar, a significant figure in Maharashtra politics known as ‘Dada’. He was also the head of the Maharashtra Olympic Association, leaving a notable impact on the sports arena in the state.

The untimely demise of Ajit Pawar drew heartfelt condolences from various personalities, including former cricketer Yusuf Pathan and Olympic medalist boxer Vijender Singh. Ajit Pawar, who had a strong presence in Maharashtra’s cooperative sector and had served in key ministerial roles, was remembered for his dedicated service to the state.

Indian cricketer Rahane and former cricket captain Mohammed Azharuddin also expressed their grief over the tragic loss of Ajit Pawar, emphasizing his contributions to public service and the development of Maharashtra. The sports fraternity and political circles alike mourned the departure of a leader who left a lasting legacy in the state.
