India’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Pranay Verma, reiterated India’s commitment to enhancing engagement with Bangladesh for the benefit of both nations. Verma recently bid farewell to Bangladesh’s Prime Minister, Tarique Rahman, who expressed gratitude for Verma’s contributions to bilateral relations and wished him well in his future endeavors.

Following Verma’s new assignment, former Union Minister Dinesh Trivedi has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh. Trivedi, a former Lok Sabha member, is poised to take over the diplomatic responsibilities in Bangladesh.
Earlier this year, India’s External Affairs Minister, S.
