After a 0-2 defeat to Jamaica in the semifinals, head coach Khalid Jamil made four changes to the starting line-up. Despite a strong start, India struggled as Zimbabwe maintained control and posed a constant threat during the match.
Zimbabwe’s dominance was evident with dangerous crosses and attacks on the Indian defense throughout the game. Despite some promising moments, including a close chance for India in the first half, Zimbabwe’s solid performance secured them the third-place finish.
