The Indo-French Investment Conclave is set to take place in Bhopal on May 12, with a focus on enhancing industrial and technological ties between Madhya Pradesh and France. Organized at the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre, the event is a collaboration between the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Madhya Pradesh government.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will address the main session, which will see participation from the French ambassador to India, representatives of French companies, industry executives, and state officials. The conclave aims to showcase Madhya Pradesh’s industrial policies, infrastructure, and business opportunities to attract French investment across various sectors.
Industrial representatives from the state are expected to engage in discussions centered around sectors like agro and food processing, automobile and electric vehicles, defense and aviation, pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, textiles, tourism, and hospitality. The event will facilitate meetings between French companies and state representatives to explore investment opportunities and collaborations.
Around 60-80 industrial representatives from Madhya Pradesh are anticipated to attend, with companies like Sanofi, Dassault Systèmes, Decathlon, Systra, EDF, ENGIE, Lactalis, and Geodis India expressing interest in various sectors. The conclave is also aimed at supporting preparations for the proposed Global Investors Summit-2027.
The French delegation, after visiting the Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum, is scheduled to explore the Bhimbetka Rock Shelters, showcasing the cultural and historical richness of the region.
