Actor Jackie Shroff honored the late actress Nanda on her 12th death anniversary and remembered Farooq Sheikh on his 78th birth anniversary. Jackie shared a video montage of Nanda on Instagram, featuring her iconic works and the song “Ye samaa samaa hai pyar ka” from the film “Jab Jab Phool Khile.”

Nanda, known for films like “Chhoti Bahen” and “Prem Rog,” passed away in 2014 at 75. Jackie also celebrated Farooq Sheikh’s legacy, sharing a picture of him with the song “Phir Chiddi Raat” from “Bazaar.” Farooq Sheikh, a prominent figure in Parallel Cinema, passed away in 2013 due to a heart attack in Dubai.

Farooq Sheikh’s career spanned from 1973 to 1993 in Hindi films and later in television. He collaborated with renowned directors like Satyajit Ray and Hrishikesh Mukherjee, leaving a lasting impact on Indian cinema.
