Jaipur Polo Team, led by Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh, secured their ninth title of the season by winning the prestigious SMS Gold Vase with a narrow 6–5.5 victory over Krishna Polo in a closely contested final.
The final match was intense, with both teams displaying strong performances throughout the chukkers. Jaipur took an early lead of 2–1.5 in the first chukker, but Krishna Polo responded in the second chukker, leading 3.5–3 at halftime with Kr. Vishal Singh Rathore’s efforts.
In a thrilling turn of events, Jaipur regained control in the third chukker, with HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh’s stellar play helping them move ahead 5–3.5. Despite a spirited effort from Krishna Polo in the final chukker, Jaipur maintained their composure, securing a 6–5.5 victory and lifting the SMS Gold Vase.
