Actress Janhvi Kapoor recently shared her excitement about starring alongside Ram Charan in the film ‘Peddi’ during its trailer launch event in Mumbai. Kapoor expressed gratitude for the audience’s anticipation, especially considering the successful on-screen pairing of their parents in Telugu cinema years ago.
She mentioned the unique bond she shares with Charan, stating, “I understand there’s a different kind of attachment to us. It felt cosmic to come together for a very special film with him. And to get to know him, because he’s really the best person.” Kapoor also praised the film’s director, Buchi Babu Sana, acknowledging the significant impact he has had on her both personally and professionally.
Kapoor further elaborated on her experience working on ‘Peddi,’ emphasizing the director’s influence on her over the two-year filming process. She described Sana as unexpectedly bold, dubbing him as “the rowdiest director in India” while highlighting the profound changes he has brought into her life. The movie, which also features Divyenndu, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and others, is set to hit theaters on June 4, 2026.
The trailer launch of ‘Peddi’ precedes the unveiling of ‘NTR Neel,’ another upcoming film featuring Ram Charan’s ‘RRR’ co-star NTR Jr.
