Jasmine Sandlas is celebrating the success of her recent song “Shararat” from the movie “Dhurandhar,” labeling it the top Bollywood track of 2025. She joyfully shared a video on Instagram, showcasing her singing the song and then breaking into laughter. The song “Shararat” features Ayesha Khan and Krystle D’Souza as dancers in a wedding scene from Aditya Dhar’s film “Dhurandhar,” which stars Akshaye Khanna, Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal.

“Shararat” is part of a two-part film series that revolves around an anti-terror undercover mission, where a secret agent infiltrates Karachi’s criminal and political underworld in Pakistan. The storyline loosely connects various real-life incidents involving geopolitical tensions like the 1999 IC-814 hijacking, the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, the 2008 Mumbai attacks, and events related to Operation Lyari.

Jasmine Sandlas, known for her hit song “Muskan” in 2008, made her Bollywood playback singing debut in 2014 with “Yaar Na Miley” from the movie “Kick.” Her song “Yaar Na Miley” gained immense popularity upon release, topping charts and earning her widespread acclaim for her singing style. Her recent successes include “Taras” for the film “Munjya 2024” and “Nasha” for “Raid-2 2025.” Jasmine has also been honored with awards, such as the “Most Popular Song of the Year 2016,” and has appeared on platforms like TEDx Talks, MTV Coke Studio, and Spoken Word.

Jasmine Sandlas was recognized in 2025 for her significant contributions to the music industry and was inducted into the Women Songwriter’s Hall of Fame.
