Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K. T. Rama Rao criticized Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for allegedly transforming Telangana into a funding source for the AICC. Rao highlighted Reddy’s reported offer of Rs.1,000 crore to the Gandhi family, accusing the government of neglecting its promises to the people while accumulating a significant debt.
Rao expressed concern over the alleged diversion of public funds for personal gain, citing instances of land grabbing in the state. He accused Reddy of prioritizing personal interests over the welfare of Telangana, urging the public to remain vigilant against what he described as the Congress government’s misuse of public resources.
The BRS leader condemned the government’s financial mismanagement, pointing out the lack of progress on development projects despite substantial debts. Rao raised issues of land encroachment and resource exploitation, cautioning against the potential consequences of the state’s financial practices on its future.
