Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K.T. Rama Rao recently visited party leader Manne Krishank at Sangareddy Jail. Krishank, along with seven associates, was arrested for allegedly assaulting a Congress worker in Hyderabad. Rama Rao, accompanied by senior BRS leaders, criticized the arrest as illegal, highlighting Krishank’s advocacy for public issues.
Krishank’s arrest was condemned by Rama Rao, who accused the government of filing false cases to suppress dissent. He emphasized Krishank’s background as a student leader and public advocate. Rama Rao alleged that the government’s actions were politically motivated, aiming to silence voices critical of corruption and maladministration.
The BRS leader further criticized the government for targeting party members raising concerns about various issues. He highlighted cases against Krishank related to government corruption, social media posts, and family affairs. Rama Rao expressed dismay over the government’s focus on social media posts rather than addressing rising crime rates within the state.
