Battle Tag

K1NGM4K3RS Inc. is gearing up to make waves in the American sports landscape with an ambitious plan to introduce Kabaddi to the U.S. The company’s founders, led by Kevin Varghese, are embarking on a tour of India this week to engage with potential stakeholders and secure team franchises for the upcoming U.S. Battle Tag League, slated for a September 2025 launch.

Kevin Varghese, who hails from Trivandrum, Kerala, is spearheading this initiative. His visit to India aims to forge partnerships with key figures from Indian professional sports teams and independent investors linked to sports entertainment. Meetings in Mumbai, scheduled from August 14 to 19, will focus on discussing entries into the Las Vegas-based Battle Tag Expo and the Battle Tag League.

“Battle Tag is set to bring the great Indian sport of Kabaddi to the United States. It’s crucial that we involve leading players, investors, and administrators from India in our project,” Varghese stated. “Our goal is to honor Kabaddi’s heritage while upholding the highest standards and ethics.”

In addition to these discussions, Varghese and his team will engage with senior executives from the International Kabaddi Federation (IKF) and the Asian Kabaddi Federation (AIKF) to explore collaborations for the Expo, which will be hosted at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

UFC Apex Senior Director, Beau Orth, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “Hosting the inaugural Battle Tag Expo at The UFC Apex Arena is thrilling. The venue’s high-tech facilities and electrifying atmosphere make it an ideal setting for this groundbreaking event. We’re excited about the new trends and unforgettable moments Battle Tag will bring to the world of sports entertainment.”

The collaboration promises to infuse Battle Tag with exceptional excitement and professionalism, offering a thrilling experience for both fans and participants. K1NGM4K3RS Inc. is also planning to launch a high school pilot program in collaboration with athletic associations from New York, Florida, Texas, and Los Angeles. This initiative will evolve into a collegiate program, aimed at nurturing the next generation of Battle Tag athletes.

Additionally, a College Raid Series is in the works, featuring a pay-to-play tournament for college students, culminating in a grand finale in Barcelona.

K1NGM4K3RS Inc. is actively seeking partnerships and investments from esteemed partners across the U.S., U.K., and Asia to establish Battle Tag as a premier sporting event. Further details on the Battle Tag Expo and league launch will be announced in the coming weeks, as K1NGM4K3RS Inc. aims to set the stage for a new era in sports entertainment.
