Filmmaker Karan Johar has spoken out against the use of clickbait headlines in media interviews. He emphasized the importance of maintaining context when quoting interviews to avoid misinterpretation. Johar highlighted that taking lines out of context can distort the original intent of the conversation and hinder open dialogue.

In a social media post, Johar requested media platforms to present statements with integrity rather than sensationalizing them. He expressed concern that clickbait headlines can discourage artists from engaging in interviews and podcasts. Johar did not disclose specific details but stressed the need for responsible journalism.

During an interview discussing actress Janhvi Kapoor’s departure from his talent agency, Johar mentioned the natural turnover of talent in the industry. He expressed goodwill towards those who left his agency while affirming his commitment to supporting his in-house talent. Johar also shared his intention to prioritize nurturing talent associated with his agency to foster a sense of family within the organization.
