Karnataka BJP Chief and MLA B.Y. Vijayendra highlighted the Bharatiya Janata Party’s significant growth, attributing it to the relentless efforts of millions of party workers. Speaking at the BJP office in Davanagere during the party’s Foundation Day celebrations, Vijayendra mentioned the party’s nationwide expansion based on the ideology of “Nation First” and a commitment to ensuring justice for all.
Vijayendra praised the national leadership, particularly PM Modi, for advancing the country’s progress with a focus on the importance of farmers and soldiers. He acknowledged the contributions of late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, L.K. Advani, and former MP Mallikarjunappa in shaping the party’s foundation.
Reflecting on Karnataka’s political landscape, Vijayendra commended leaders like former CM B.S. Yediyurappa, late Ananth Kumar, late V.S. Acharya, Thanga, and Shankarmurthy for their dedicated efforts in expanding the BJP’s presence from cities to rural areas. He emphasized the invaluable sacrifices made by senior leaders that have propelled the party’s growth both locally and nationally.
The state BJP chief expressed pride in PM Modi’s international recognition, having received top honors from over 25 countries. He urged party workers to enhance the organization’s strength through unwavering commitment and dedication, emphasizing the importance of collective effort.
Legislative Council Opposition Leader Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, along with MLAs, former MLAs, ministers, and various party leaders, attended the event.
