Karnataka BJP President B.Y. Vijayendra, along with Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly R. Ashoka and Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, greeted BJP national president Nitin Nabin at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru. The welcoming party included party members and workers who received Nabin upon his arrival in the city. State officials and former minister Prabhu Chouhan were also present at the event.
Earlier, Vijayendra mentioned that Nabin’s visit marked his first trip to Karnataka as the party’s national president. He expressed a warm welcome on behalf of party members and well-wishers across the state. Nabin’s visit is expected to involve meetings with senior party leaders, legislators, and workers, including a breakfast meeting at former Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa’s residence.
During his visit, Nabin is scheduled to offer prayers at the Kadumalleshwara Temple and hold discussions with BJP MPs, MLAs, and Legislative Council members to assess the current political landscape in the state. He will also participate in the party’s core committee meeting and attend a training camp in Bengaluru North district. Vijayendra emphasized the significance of Nabin’s presence, stating that it would serve as an inspiration for party workers.
