Karnataka BJP President, B.Y. Vijayendra, expressed concerns about the state government’s alleged minority appeasement strategies, claiming that Hindus have faced humiliation since the party came to power. He also accused the government of neglecting development initiatives. Vijayendra highlighted issues such as the withdrawal of cases related to a riot incident in Aland, criticizing the government’s actions.
Vijayendra questioned the leadership abilities of Karnataka Congress President, D.K. Shivakumar, stating that the government had not undertaken any significant development projects in the past three years. He emphasized that the government’s focus on corruption and minority appeasement had hindered progress, leading to financial constraints that would impede future development efforts.
Regarding the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections, Vijayendra mentioned that the BJP’s central leadership would make decisions based on the state’s political landscape. He criticized Shivakumar for the lack of basic infrastructure in educational institutions, highlighting issues such as dilapidated school buildings and delays in providing essential supplies like textbooks and uniforms.
Vijayendra urged the government to prioritize improving infrastructure in government schools, emphasizing the importance of enhancing educational facilities to secure students’ futures and revitalize the state’s education system.
