The Karnataka Education Minister, Madhu Bangarappa, disclosed that the II PUC board exams for class 12 students will run from February 28 to March 17. Concurrently, the SSLC exams for class 10 students are scheduled from March 18 to April 2. II PUC exams will be held daily from 10 am to 1 pm, while SSLC exams will take place from 10 am to 1.15 pm.
Around 7.10 lakh students have registered for the II PUC exams, and 9.02 lakh students for the SSLC exams. Notably, there are 13,022 repeaters in II PUC and 27,189 SSLC students. The II PUC exams will kick off with Kannada and Arabic on February 28, followed by subjects like Geography, Statistics, and Psychology.
As per the schedule released by the Department of School Education, the II PUC exams will cover various subjects such as languages, history, physics, economics, and more. The SSLC exams will commence on March 18 with the First Language paper and conclude on April 2 with Social Science. Minister Bangarappa mentioned that the II PUC results are expected on April 7, and the SSLC results on April 24.
To ensure a fair examination process, the Minister emphasized that students must carry their hall tickets and can utilize free RTC bus services. Additionally, mobile phones and electronic devices are strictly prohibited in the exam halls. The Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police have been instructed to take necessary actions for a smooth conduct of the exams.
