He emphasized his commitment to follow the directives of the high command and urged fellow leaders to do the same.
Addressing questions on statements by Congress legislators regarding leadership issues, Siddaramaiah questioned the absence of any official communication from the high command on this matter. He reiterated his stance of adhering to the decisions of the party leadership without further elaboration.
In response to queries about his son’s statement on completing his term, Siddaramaiah reiterated his reliance on the high command’s decisions and discouraged further questioning on the subject. He maintained a firm stance on abiding by the party’s directives regarding leadership matters.
Reflecting on the government’s 1,000-day milestone, Siddaramaiah highlighted the administration’s focus on uplifting marginalized sections of society and fulfilling electoral promises. He criticized the BJP’s negative portrayal of the milestone, attributing it to jealousy and challenging the opposition’s track record during its tenure.
Siddaramaiah provided insights into the government’s achievements, citing the fulfillment of 243 out of 592 assurances within a span of two-and-a-half years. He pledged to continue working towards realizing the remaining promises and dismissed allegations made by BJP leaders as baseless.
Regarding the Bedti-Varada river link project, Siddaramaiah mentioned the submission of a Detailed Project Report to the central government, expressing skepticism about a prompt decision. He also touched upon the impending caste census report, indicating that the government would act based on its findings.
