Amid criticism from the BJP regarding the financial burden of Congress government guarantees, Karnataka’s Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar assured support for hemophilia patients through the ‘Kusuma Sanjeevini’ initiative. Despite acknowledging the schemes as challenging for the state, Shivakumar emphasized the government’s commitment to alleviating mental stress caused by financial hardships.

Shivakumar, speaking at an event in Bengaluru, highlighted the government’s five guarantees, including free bus services for women, free power, and financial aid, aimed at empowering citizens financially. The move aims to instill confidence and mental strength in the populace to foster financial independence.

The initiative to provide preventive treatment for hemophilia patients and introduce 108 ambulance services has sparked discussions on the state’s policies and their impact. Shivakumar expressed empathy towards hemophilia patients, stressing the importance of strengthening their lives and ensuring they do not feel helpless due to the disease’s financial burdens.

Addressing the financial challenges faced by parents of hemophilia patients, Shivakumar revealed the government’s decision to intervene and provide necessary support. He emphasized the government’s commitment to leading in healthcare initiatives, underscoring Karnataka’s prominence in medical education and the healthcare sector.

Shivakumar’s reassurance to patients and their families, promising unwavering government support and financial assistance, aims to instill hope and confidence. The government’s dedication to serving humanity and prioritizing healthcare needs reflects its ongoing commitment to the well-being of the people.
