Not limited to actresses, Kritika also drew inspiration from jazz clubs and Parsi events for her character. Every detail, from hair to accessories, was carefully curated to reflect the era authentically. The costume, hair, and makeup played a significant role in shaping Gulrukh’s persona and aiding Kritika in embodying the character.

The show narrates the tale of a Mumbai-based cotton trader in the 1960s who introduces a new gambling game called ‘Matka.’ Kritika recently tied the knot with Gaurav Kapur in a private ceremony attended by close family and friends on March 11.
