Faizabad Bar Association President Kalika Prasad Mishra announced that lawyers will march to the Ram Janmabhoomi police station to file a formal complaint seeking an FIR against former officials of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The complaint involves alleged embezzlement of funds and donations meant for the Ram Temple. Mishra stated that if obstructed, they will request media presence for submitting the application.

Mishra highlighted concerns about the handling of a previous FIR, questioning the police’s approach to cash recovery. He emphasized that the upcoming complaint targets different individuals, including Champat Rai and Anil Mishra. The lawyers plan to push for a CBI inquiry into the matter, leaving the final decision to divine intervention.

Expressing dissatisfaction with the police’s actions, Mishra suggested that if the complaint is not registered, they may pursue impeachment against those implicated in wrongdoing. He criticized the police for providing security to the accused, hindering the filing of an FIR. Mishra also called for the Enforcement Directorate to investigate the substantial financial implications of the case.
