LG Electronics has introduced a new robot named CLOiD, designed as an artificial intelligence (AI) home assistant for CES 2026. The robot, showcased at LG World Premiere in Las Vegas, is aimed at providing ambient care and reducing physical and mental labor. Equipped with two arms and five-fingered hands, CLOiD can perform tasks like laundry and serving water.

The robot goes beyond mere conversation to actively manage devices, spaces, and services within the home. CEO Lyu Jae-cheol highlighted LG’s aim to set a new standard for future home living through innovative solutions, including robotics.
The company envisions AI experiences extending beyond homes into other spaces like vehicles, workplaces, and commercial areas. LG Electronics also presented a cutting-edge OLED TV and its premium Signature lineup at the event. The LG OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TV boasts a 9-millimeter panel, offering a sleek design with vibrant colors and wireless capabilities.
The LG Signature refrigerator, another highlight, is AI-powered and can understand conversational language while offering personalized recommendations, including recipes based on the stored food items.
