Lt Governor Manoj Sinha virtually launched a 53-member youth group from J&K to attend the 29th National Youth Festival-Viksit Bharat Young leaders’ dialogue 2026 in New Delhi. The National Youth Festival, held annually to mark Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary on January 12, focuses on empowering and uniting youth. In 2025, it was renamed Viksit Bharat Young Leaders’ Dialogue to align with the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
The selected contingent from J&K will partake in the Viksit Bharat Challenge Track and Cultural/Innovation Track at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from January 10th to 12th, 2026. Lt Governor Sinha interacted with the youth virtually, extending his best wishes for the event. He commended the participants for progressing from local competitions to the national level, highlighting the immense potential of Jammu and Kashmir’s youth.
Encouraging the youth with Swami Vivekananda’s words, Lt Governor Sinha urged them to pursue their dreams relentlessly. He emphasized that true leadership lies in creating opportunities for others and urged the youth to focus on character-building and lifelong learning. Lt Governor Sinha advised the youth to be bold, fearless, and to think beyond boundaries, guiding them towards a developed India.
