Veteran actress Madhoo remembered how Suniel Shetty abruptly left the filming of ‘Hum Hain Bemisaal’ upon hearing about Divya Bharti’s sudden death. Madhoo disclosed that Suniel, who was close to Divya Bharti, rushed to Mumbai upon receiving the news.

Madhoo mentioned that although she never met Divya Bharti in person, their fathers were good friends. She also shared that Divya Bharti was cast by Hema Malini in the movie ‘Dil Aashna Hai,’ which made her feel a familial connection.

During the shooting of ‘Hum Hain Bemisaal’ in Shimla, Suniel Shetty, who knew Divya well, left the set upon hearing about her demise. The 1994 action thriller, directed by Deepak Bahry, starred Suniel Shetty, Madhoo, Akshay Kumar, Shilpa Shirodkar, and others.

The movie ‘Hum Hain Bemisaal’ was released on 16 December 1994 under the Spectrum Pictures Combine banner. Divya Bharti tragically passed away on 5 April 1993 at the age of 19, with her death officially attributed to an accidental fall from her apartment balcony in Bombay.
