Chief Minister Mohan Yadav of Madhya Pradesh distributed more than Rs 360 crore to 900 industrial units in a single click, benefiting the MSME sector. The incentives included clearing all outstanding dues of MSME units until March 31, 2026. Additionally, he allocated Rs 2.02 crore for Effluent Treatment Plants, reimbursed Rs 1.07 crore in mandi fees, and offered Rs 3.69 crore for electricity tariff support to 11 units.
Through the ‘Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana’ and ‘Startup Policy 2025’, Chief Minister Yadav extended loans and incentives to the industrial sector. He emphasized the significant contribution of over 24 lakh MSME units in providing employment to more than 1.25 crore individuals in Madhya Pradesh. Notably, more than 4.41 lakh units are led by women, showcasing empowerment in the sector.
Chief Minister Yadav pledged Rs 4,500 crore over the next two and a half years to strengthen the MSME sector, highlighting the benefits under the MSME Development Policy. The policy offers incentives up to 40% on investments (60% for food processing units) and an additional 8% support for SC, ST, and women entrepreneurs. Moreover, he mentioned the provision of land at concessional rates and the approval of new industrial areas and clusters in the state.
Madhya Pradesh, under Chief Minister Yadav’s leadership, has achieved “Leader” category status in national start-up rankings. The state boasts over 7,400 start-ups, with women leading nearly half of them. The Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana has sanctioned loans exceeding Rs 1,630 crore to more than 23,500 youths, further boosting entrepreneurship in the region. Various industrial organizations lauded the Chief Minister for his initiatives, underscoring the positive impact on the industrial landscape.
