Chief Minister Mohan Yadav emphasized Madhya Pradesh’s commitment to inclusive development and public welfare during the NITI Aayog Governing Council’s 11th meeting in New Delhi. He shared the state’s proactive initiatives for holistic development and its contribution to the national goal of ‘Viksit Bharat @2047’ through good governance. Yadav also announced the successful eradication of Naxalism in the state ahead of the Central Government’s timeline, leading to accelerated development works in the affected areas.
Highlighting the state’s achievements, Yadav mentioned the implementation of the Ayushman Bharat scheme and the establishment of new medical colleges and health centers. Madhya Pradesh is also focusing on river-linking projects for irrigation, skill development through PM-SHRI colleges, and industrialization efforts. Additionally, the Chief Minister highlighted the establishment of the country’s first PM MITRA Park in Dhar district and initiatives for waste disposal and new public welfare schemes.
At the NITI Aayog meeting, discussions revolved around themes like human capital, employment, decentralised development, health, and equity. Yadav reiterated the state’s commitment to collaborative efforts with the Centre and other states for India’s development. Madhya Pradesh’s progress across sectors reflects its dedication to inclusive and sustainable growth.
