Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav engaged with beneficiaries of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in Barwani district under the National Rural Livelihoods Mission. The event saw women from various sectors sharing their experiences, with Seema Nargawe, known as ‘Drone Didi’, highlighting her journey in organic farming and drone operation after joining an SHG. She now trains other women in these practices, enhancing their livelihoods.
National-level hockey player Sneha Mohaniya, who has secured medals at the national level, raised concerns about inadequate sports facilities and requested an astro-turf in Barwani for better training. Chief Minister Yadav pledged to address this need promptly. Additionally, he directed officials to ensure state-level shooting training for Vaishnavi Mahule, offering recognition and a financial incentive to a local coach for his efforts in training girls.
In his closing remarks, Chief Minister Yadav emphasized the state government’s commitment to supporting women, rural communities, farmers, and sportspersons through various welfare schemes, aiming to foster progress and empowerment across society.
