Senior BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla lauded the trade deal as a testament to the strong and forward-looking partnership between the two countries. Shukla expressed optimism that the agreement would boost bilateral trade, foster innovation, attract investments, and create employment opportunities across various sectors. Deputy CM Jagdish Devda, also the finance department head in the Madhya Pradesh government, welcomed the reduction of tariff rates to 18%, citing it as a sign of increasing trust and mutual interests between India and the US. Devda predicted that this move would invigorate bilateral trade, spur investments, and drive job growth. He emphasized that the agreement not only strengthens economic ties but also underscores India’s influential role in global trade.
