Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav praised the recent trade agreement between India and the United States, hailing it as a significant opportunity for India’s advancement. He emphasized that the deal, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, will bolster the ‘Make in India’ initiative, enhancing the nation’s global stature. Yadav highlighted the agreement’s potential to propel economic growth and showcase India’s leadership on the world stage.

Senior BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla lauded the trade deal as a testament to the strong and forward-looking partnership between the two countries. Shukla expressed optimism that the agreement would boost bilateral trade, foster innovation, attract investments, and create employment opportunities across various sectors. He underscored Prime Minister Modi’s commitment to economic reforms and global cooperation, positioning India as a reliable partner internationally.

Deputy CM Jagdish Devda, also the finance department head in the Madhya Pradesh government, welcomed the reduction of tariff rates to 18%, citing it as a sign of increasing trust and mutual interests between India and the US. Devda predicted that this move would invigorate bilateral trade, spur investments, and drive job growth. He emphasized that the agreement not only strengthens economic ties but also underscores India’s influential role in global trade.
