Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav presented a job letter to the son of Manohar Singh Chauhan, who tragically lost his life while rescuing three individuals in Mandsaur district last April. The late Manohar Singh Chauhan, who displayed exceptional bravery and humanity, was posthumously honored by appointing his son, Sanjay Singh, as a Police Constable (GD) in government service.
CM Yadav praised Manohar Singh’s selfless act during an accident in Malhargarh, where he rescued four people from a well after a car-bike collision but unfortunately lost his life while trying to save others. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of recognizing citizens who exhibit such remarkable courage and humanity.
In a significant gesture, Chief Minister Yadav announced the recruitment of Manohar Singh’s 22-year-old son into the Madhya Pradesh Police force. Despite the absence of a provision for government jobs in the police, Yadav decided to make an exception due to Manohar Singh’s extraordinary valor and sacrifice.
At an event in Mandsaur, CM Yadav highlighted the exceptional bravery of Manohar Singh and the government’s commitment to honoring acts of humanity. The decision to offer a government job to Manohar Singh’s son was made following the tragic incident that took place in April 2025.
