Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is set to visit Kukru, a picturesque hill station in Betul district, for a two-day trip starting Saturday. He plans to engage with villagers directly, assess government welfare schemes’ progress, and engage in various public outreach activities. The visit aims to bolster government presence in the tribal area and evaluate the effectiveness of welfare projects at the grassroots level.
Yadav is scheduled to arrive in Kukru on Saturday evening and visit the renowned Sunset Point at 6:30 p.m. He will then partake in a ‘Ratri Chaupal’ at the Kukru Gram Panchayat, facilitating an open dialogue with villagers and local representatives. This session will involve addressing public concerns, explaining the advantages of different state and Central government welfare initiatives, and hearing from beneficiaries about their experiences with rural development, housing, women’s empowerment, and more.
During his visit on Sunday, Yadav will commence the day with meditation at Sunrise Point and Buch Point. He will observe the activities of women engaged in self-help groups, interacting with them to gauge the impact of government programs on their income and financial autonomy. Additionally, the Chief Minister will join a tree plantation campaign, inspect the coffee plantation in the region, emphasizing the state’s commitment to environmental preservation and agricultural diversification in tribal areas. Later, he will engage with local public representatives to discuss development priorities and participate in listening to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio program.
