The Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) has initiated a “talent hunt” program to select spokespersons who will represent the party’s views at various levels. State Congress chief Jitu Patwari announced the program at a press conference in Bhopal, emphasizing the need for ideologically committed individuals to communicate the party’s ideology effectively. Interviews will be conducted at the division level to evaluate applicants, with a focus on merit-based selections.
Patwari highlighted that the party aims to identify individuals who can convey Congress ideology with dedication and research. The initiative was supported by Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar, who emphasized the importance of a fact-based opposition in state politics. The program is designed to provide a platform for young, knowledgeable individuals to advocate for the public with factual information.
The talent hunt process, according to State Congress media in-charge Mukesh Nayak, will involve a rigorous selection process based on merit. Application forms are available from Monday onwards, with a deadline set for February 28. The selection will include 20 state spokespersons, media panelists, authorized spokespersons at various levels, and a dedicated English media panelist, aiming to strengthen democratic values and promote evidence-based critique of the government’s policies.
