He conveyed warm wishes to Manipur, Meghalaya, Tripura, and Uttar Pradesh during a joint celebration event in Bhopal. Governor Patel credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for fostering national unity through initiatives like “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.”
The Governor underscored the significance of joint state celebrations, citing a past event uniting Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, and Meghalaya in Gujarat. He emphasized the unity of India’s spiritual, folk, and maritime heritage, showcasing the nation’s strength globally. Patel praised the foundation day as a platform to honor regional identities and reinforce national solidarity, emphasizing development, good governance, and social harmony as pillars of nation-building.
At the joint foundation day event, Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Prisons, Dara Singh, served as the chief guest. Video messages from Governors Ajay Kumar Bhalla (Manipur) and C.H. Vijayashankar (Meghalaya) were broadcasted, alongside short films showcasing the culture and development of the states. The celebration highlighted the shared values and unity across diverse Indian regions.
