The Additional Director General of Police, Raja Babu Singh, responsible for the Madhya Pradesh Police training wing, lodged a detailed complaint with the Bhopal Police Commissioner regarding an early morning security breach and threat near his official residence. The incident, occurring between 6:02 a.m. and 6:08 a.m., involved two unidentified vehicles stopping near his home in Boudharm Fountain Pride, Trilanga area of Bhopal. Individuals from the vehicles shouted abusive slogans, with one person brandishing a stick threateningly before being deterred by the security guard on duty.
Despite the presence of private security, no vehicle registration was noted, and the intruders were not intercepted. Following the event, the officer reported it to the Shahpura police station, where Sub Inspector Munshiram Thakur conducted an on-site investigation, reviewing CCTV footage and the officer’s formal complaint. The ADG expressed concerns that the incident may be linked to recent changes in police training programs he implemented, including the incorporation of values from Sanatan Dharma.
Raja Babu Singh, a senior IPS officer from the 1994 batch of the Madhya Pradesh cadre, emphasized the need for a thorough investigation to uncover any potential conspiracy against him. He urged for the identification, arrest, and prosecution of the trespassers, emphasizing the importance of his personal security. Additionally, he requested security measures and armed guards at his residence, particularly during nighttime hours.
