In a recent administrative reorganization in Madhya Pradesh, the General Administration Department has advanced 16 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers from the 2010 batch to the Super Time Scale and 24 officers from the 2013 batch to the Selection Grade. The promotions, effective from January 1, 2026, are contingent upon the completion of mandatory mid-career training Phase-IV.
The Super Time Scale promotions will see senior bureaucrats taking on secretary-level roles, increasing their responsibilities across key departments. Notable appointments include Ananya Dwivedi as Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Eastern Area Power Distribution Company Limited, Kaushalendra Vikram Singh as Bhopal District Collector, and Tarun Rathi as Commissioner of Health Services in Bhopal.
Several other appointments in the Super Time Scale and Selection Grade categories include Karmveer Sharma as Commissioner-cum-Director of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, Bhaskar Lakshkar as Commissioner of Treasury and Accounts, and Abhijeet Agrawal as Excise Commissioner in Gwalior. Additional promotions feature Ashish Singh as Ujjain Division Commissioner, Deepak Kumar Saxena as Public Relations Commissioner, and Basant Kurre as Additional Secretary of Skill Development.
