Madhya Pradesh’s Nupur Kumrawat secured first place in the 50m Rifle Prone Women ISSF event at the 24th Kumar Surendra Singh Memorial Shooting Championship in Bhopal. She achieved a top score of 624.3, outperforming her competitors. Following her, Priya from the Army Marksmanship Unit claimed the second spot with a score of 623.9, while Bhakti Bhaskar Khamkar from Maharashtra took third place with 622.2.
In the junior women’s category of the 50m Rifle Prone event, Tamil Nadu’s M.A. Akschadha Aiswarya emerged victorious with an impressive score of 618.2. The silver medal went to Punjab’s Nimrat Kaur Brar with a score of 617.7, and the bronze was secured by Pratha Rathod from Madhya Pradesh with 617.6. The competition showcased remarkable talent among young female shooters.
M.A. Akschadha Aiswarya continued her winning streak by also clinching the top position in the youth women’s event with a score of 618.2. This double victory highlighted her exceptional skills and consistency in performance. The competition featured strong contenders from various states, emphasizing the growing talent pool in shooting sports.
