Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that the state will implement the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) this month, aligning with the vision of Bharatiya Jana Sangh founder Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, who advocated “One Nation, One Constitution.” The announcement was made during an event in Bhopal commemorating Dr. Mookerjee’s 125th birth anniversary.
CM Yadav emphasized Dr. Mookerjee’s stance on governance under one flag, one head, and one Constitution, expressing pride in Madhya Pradesh’s move towards this ideal. He highlighted the state’s commitment to initiatives that contribute to India’s global recognition under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
Underlining the state’s focus on industrialization, infrastructure, and employment generation, CM Yadav mentioned Madhya Pradesh’s entry into the defense manufacturing sector. He inaugurated a significant industrial park in Satgarhi, aiming to boost employment opportunities and provide integrated facilities for industries and workers.
Bhopal’s emergence as a key economic hub was also noted by the Chief Minister, who outlined plans for developing large convention centers to support business and investment activities. Highlighting Madhya Pradesh’s low unemployment rate, he emphasized the positive outcomes of the state’s development initiatives.
CM Yadav reiterated the government’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure, fostering investment, and creating employment avenues to propel the state towards inclusive development.
