Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde criticized Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, for urging protests outside Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence. Shinde questioned Gandhi’s intentions and raised concerns about potential sabotage or anarchy.

Shinde highlighted Gandhi’s constitutional responsibilities and accused him of setting a dangerous precedent by organizing the protest. He emphasized the irresponsibility of calling people to a restricted area where protests are not allowed, especially involving students.

Acknowledging the NEET exam paper leak, Shinde praised the Central government’s prompt and strict actions. He commended the transparency and efficiency of the re-examination process, with millions of students participating in various national-level exams under government supervision.

Shinde alleged that while the Union government ensured exam security and transparency, the Opposition, led by Gandhi, attempted to politicize the issue without considering the students’ future.
