Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde emphasized the importance of development as a key factor in the upcoming elections. He highlighted the public’s desire for progress and urged citizens to prioritize voting for comprehensive development over discord and delays. Shinde also encouraged active participation in the democratic process to ensure a brighter future for all.

Earlier, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stressed the significance of voting as a fundamental aspect of democracy. He underscored the role of voting in ensuring good governance and called on all eligible voters to actively engage in the electoral process. Fadnavis’ wife, Amruta Fadnavis, echoed the sentiment, urging citizens to exercise their democratic rights responsibly by making informed choices.

Polling for the municipal corporations commenced with a significant voter turnout observed across various cities. The elections, covering a substantial number of seats, will determine the fate of numerous candidates. The voting process, marked by a strong spirit of democracy, is crucial for shaping the future of local governance.
