Maharashtra Transport Minister Affirms Continuation of ‘Operation Tiger’

Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik assured that the Shiv Sena’s ‘Operation Tiger’ is active year-round, welcoming those aligned with their ideology to join openly. Sarnaik emphasized transparency, stating that they do not hold secretive meetings and are inclusive of individuals subscribing to their beliefs. He acknowledged the court’s directive to inspect electronic voting machines in the Chandivali Assembly constituency, emphasizing the importance of respecting the court’s decision.

Sarnaik expressed support for the Central Government’s initiative to make toll plazas cashless, citing the need to reduce congestion. He highlighted the requirement for proficiency in Marathi for residents and businesses in Maharashtra, emphasizing the mandate established in 2019. Addressing the Kunal Kamra controversy, Sarnaik mentioned a committee formed by the Legislative Assembly Speaker to investigate the issue.

Regarding the Metro Project-10, Sarnaik updated on the inauguration of the Dahisar to Kashi Gaon Metro Station stretch in the presence of key officials, signaling efforts to expedite connecting routes for Metro-9 and Metro-4.
